“The property is located in a small neighborhood right by the water. While there are houses fairly close it is quiet with beautiful views. The house is clean and has good appliances/wifi for a comfortable stay. It is a one bedroom with a big bathroom and living room. The screened in patio is good to avoid the mosquitos. One note is for those with mobility issues, the shower/bathtub has a high ledge with a thicker width to get in/out.”

“I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.”

“We had a great stay here - the home was clean, nicely decorated, the kitchen was very well stocked and great access to the river. The teens loved being able to step right outside and fish. Good fishing too! We had rainy weather yet that didn't stop us from having a great time. Dan is excellent and timely with his communications too. Hope to return here this summer!”

“Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.”

The home was clean and comfortable with all of the little extras you might need when traveling or you may have forgotten. The design of the home was a great use of space and really cozy beach vibes. The porch and backyard areas were a fun surprise and my little dog did not want to leave the porch. Colonial Beach has many great restaurants and home has convenient access to beautiful river beaches and bayside……

“This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!”

The house has a wonderful layout and a comforting vibe. Out of all the vacations we have taken, we were the saddest to leave this place lol and we are already making our next plans to come back! The sunroom with the view of the water was amazing and nice and toasty for our winter getaway. “Secluded cottage on the water. The host were fantastic. The view from the cottage is beautiful looking at the water and the birds. My sons brought their kayaking gear and kayak on the water. Just a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle.”

“This home is perfect for multiple families to meet. Two bwdrooms on one aide of the house and another bedroom across the house all on the main floor. Two additional bwdrooms upstairs and three bathrooms. Everyone was comfortable and had privacy and the best part was the house was really quiet. We couldn't hear people walkaround above us. The wings are separated by a huge living room with couches, games, books and a huge dining table. Charming! There is a spectacular view of the water and the……
