Awesome views from the hotel of lake Toya and surrounding mountains. Buffet breakfast and dinner really good . This hotel is a prefect example of you get what you pay for . Spend the money you won’t regret it .fireworks every night are really great you can sit in your room and get a Birds Eye view

Our hotel was very nice. Location was stunning, lake view is amazing. Our room with private onsen was beautiful. ( ha ha it took us til the last day to figure out there was a tap to add cool water to cool it down…. It was 50°C) but no matter as the public onsen was fantastic especially the rooftop one that overlooked the gorgeous lake. Simply amazing, relaxing, perfect. My biggest problem with all Japanese onsen is the array of lovely lotions and potions that I couldn’t decipher what they were for, I just guessed. Overall wonderful property. Oh the breakfast and dinners were also amazing. Again overlooking the lake.

Food lacks authentic Japanese taste. Too much focus on international food selection. There is really very little choice of food around the hotel. Room design is odd. The window opens from head to toe. We were put just below the onsen and the room was really warm. There was no aircon and airflow was bad even with both windowns open. Luckily the staff gave us a fan

It’s a fantastic place to travel ! Quiet time, fresh air, comfortable room and peaceful atmosphere around the corner. You can watch the whole Toya lake firework show through your room. I like the buffet provided. It’s high quality and the seasonal food fits my stomach very much!
