"Kitchen was very well-equipped, with a lovely big fridge. Appreciate the laundry machine available. Older place so a bit worn and dusty in places. Very spacious - yet somewhat awkward for just relaxing in. Single beds were not comfortable so we placed tri-fold mattresses on top. Orange duvet covers not a pleasant material to touch. We could not get hot water in the tub so we're not able to enjoy it! Air conditioning was good! Nice neighborhood. Lovely plants and birds just outside!"

"2008号室のオーシャンビューのお部屋に泊まりました。 眺めが良く、ちょうど河津桜が咲いていました。 チェックインはスマホで完了し、暗証番号でお部屋に入ることができ、わかりやすかったです。 周辺は特にお店もないので、事前の買い出しが不可欠です。 赤ちゃん連れだったのですが、ダブルサイズのベッドで添い寝ができました。ただし、ベッドの間は隙間があるので、枕でギャップを埋めました。 備え付けの有料コーヒーが特に美味しかったです。"

"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. "I had an overall good stay at this hotel and appreciated the range of amenities provided, especially the variety of tea options available. Clean towels were also supplied daily. The hotel is within a short distance to Shizuoka station, with some great places within walking distance nearby. Breakfast on the first morning was a little disappointing, as many items had already run out and the selection was limited. However, the following two mornings were much better, with a wider range of options still available - some which were delicious! The main reason I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 rather than 5 is due to the smell in my room. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable drain odour, which made the room less pleasant than expected. Aside from that issue, I had a positive experience overall."
