“Firstly this property appeared on a search for accommodation in 'Dullstroom'. The property description on the website had ZERO indication that it was a 45 minute really treacherous car busting 'gravel' road to reach it. To be fair this was communicated in a whatsapp AFTER the booking was made, however NO description of how bad the road was - just a 'gravel' road. Had this been the case we would not have booked here. You need a bakkie at the least to arrive unscathed here. One of our vehicles was……

“We had a fantastic stay, host was super friendly and helpful, on call, cottages was newly furnished, had all the basics, limited Wifi, but enough for emails and Watsapps, could watch rugby at the restaurant, meals there upon request, emergency lighting around the premises during load shedding but not in the unit so take your torches, breath taking walks and river views, enough stunning swimming spots along the multiple pristine river crossings along the way for the hot summer day walks in the……

“Staff was great. Pool very nice and welcome on a very hot day. Only a couple of suggestions: 1. Maybe a TV in the rooms for nights as there is nothing at all to do. So the evenings become a little boring. 2. A Tiki bar, or even an honesty bar at the pool with limited drinks and snacks. Would be a great idea. ”

Since we were tired after a long journey we paid for the room again. Now we a struggling to get a refund. The room was great. A bit noisy because it was next to a busy road with heavy trucks passing late at night. Staff are very friendly and helpful. ”
