"Very calm and relaxing environment directly at the lake. Best thing was to sit on the dock with a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the birds. We used the boats and SUPs frequently. The water was warm and nicely and the water trampoline for the kids got full approval.It's big enough for a family of four and you have everything you need inside.We went to Halifax several times, so it's not to far away from something else to do. We think the location is perfect and we miss the place already."

"The host Simon was great and quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. The property was very nice with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. The property was very clean with comfortable beds, nice linens and pillows. The setting was beautiful in a nicely wooded lot and we enjoyed some of the wildlife. We had a visit from a cute bunny and a porcupine"

"This little Airbnb was perfect for my week stay in Halifax. It is just perfect for 1 to 2 people. Very clean, looks freshly painted and brand new. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and even though it is in somebody’s basement, you have your own private entrance, your own bathroom, washer, and dryer kitchen and living room and bedroom. Perfect for coming and going. Every once in a great while you can hear the family upstairs walking, but that was never a problem for me and never bothered me. The host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Halifax. It’s a very quiet, peaceful place to stay only 15 minutes drive from the city."

"This was by far the best VRBO property we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect for everything you need including groceries and restaurants. The house is on a quiet lake with beautiful views from every window. There is a separate cottage that was perfect for my parents to have privacy and quiet when needed. The house is well stocked with everything needed including kayaks and paddle boards which we all really enjoyed. Chris was kind enough to meet us at check in for a quick tour and indulged our questions about the area. It really felt like we were visiting friends, as the cottage felt very much like home. We hope to visit again soon!"
