"A very good experience and definitely satisfied our needs. We came before the summer season so too cool for use of their outdoor amenities. A very nice, rustic cottage. Best thing is the beautiful lake and sunset views, and the beautiful rural Vermont contryside. Very close to Canadian border with easy border crossings. We came for activities in Montreal, which was an easy 65 minute drive including the quick border crossings availabe. The beds were comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, plenty of kitchen tools. Plenty of room to move around. Quiet. Be advised that the cottage is on well water that probably not great as drinking water, but the owners supplied plenty of bottled water. Also, only one bathroom, which was fine for the two of us but might be challenging for a larger group. Also, I did not find any source for heat. There was a floor environmental unit on a thermostat in the area between the main cottage and the boathouse extension that blows air but it did not blow heat, if you happen to spend a cold spring night at the cottage. I couldn't tell if the thermostat actually worked, though. We are from Maine, so cold nights don't bother us. The cottage does have AC, which we did not activate. We would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a nice, clean rural lake cottage as a warm weather getaway, or as a more affordable option if spending time in Montreal and want to avoid the outrageous hotel prices there during big events."
