A Wonderful Weekend

We loved everything about this studio. The cleanliness, decor, location, and host made us feel right at home. We also loved the neighborhood cats! Tony was great and communicated effectively throughout our entire stay!

Quick Trip, Comfy Stay

Very clean and cozy studio. We only stayed the evening for a last minute girls trip. Location was great and price was even better! Tony checked in various times to make sure that everything was to our liking.

Amazing

The owner really put a lot of thought and love into this property. Very much felt like a home away from home and Tony was a wonderful host. I’d highly recommend this place to any couples looking for a weekend getaway. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and everything you could want or need on the inside. We will definitely be booking this one again!

I was so very pleased with this entire experience! Tony is a very gracious host, answered all questions we had and checked in with us throughout our stay. I would 100% recommend this exact Virbo to anyone I knew going to Charleston, and I will absolutely stay here next time I go down.

Great experience

Yes, it's not in the prettiest part of Charleston, but the location is very convenient to all the different areas of Charleston. Apartment was very clean and everything worked well. Owner communicates regularly and provides you all the information you need for checking in. Price is also much cheaper than other rentals and the average hotel in Charleston. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything we needed in our stay. Clean, comfortable. Had a interesting and diverse book and DVD selection. Good music was on when we arrived. The shower had good water pressure. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy access. Thankful host.

Perfect for what I needed

It does not look like much from the outside, and the neighborhood is run down. But the inside more then makes up for it. The owner is easy to contact and checks in make sure everything is ok. A lot of great touch’s when you get inside. I will definitely stay again

Perfect in every way

This was an exceptional spot for our mother/daughter getaway. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to be most anywhere in 10-15 minutes. Perfect size for two; everything we needed was at our fingertips; exceptionally clean; comfy bed and bedding; all around perfect! Kudos to the host for attention to the details. Host was very responsive. Don't miss this gem!

Everything inside was fantastic - Tony is Awesome

Tony goes out of his way to make everything perfect.... clean, modern accommodations with a bottle of wine, snacks, soda books, washer dryer and on and on...... the neighborhood is part commercial and part working residential. We observed no problems.

Excellent hidden gem

Very clean, spacious studio apartment. Shower has both a regular shower head and handheld, with lots of hot water. Luxury towels. Refrigerator has condiments, butter, etc. Soda and bottle of merlow welcomes you. Washer and dryer avaliable. We definitely will stay here again and recommend for our friends. Very well priced. Ower very responsive with any questions.

Great location, wonderful host

The reviews Tony has are all true. The property was a great location. Tony was exceptional. The place was cozy. He's really thought of everything. The special little touches are nice . The coffee pot wasn't working and he brought one over nearly immediately. He was especially gracious and understanding when I accidently confused our check out day. Thank you again Tony we'll definitely be back of you'll have us. You really go above and beyond.

Amazing Hidden Gem

All I can say is fleeing from hurricane Milton from Tampa, FL was a stressful, anxious, cataclysmic event that lead us to drive thru the night to come to South Carolina and found ourselves at Tony's stay. As a chef, a veteran of restaurants and worked in the hospitality field for almost 30 years, you can tell alot of effort and attention was put into this space. Incredibly kind, thoughtful, and gave us a nugget of piece in a very chaotic time. Highly recommend any one of Tony's properties or working with him as a host in the future. God bless you Tony! Amazing!

Tony was a wonderful host. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine, snacks, and drinks. He checked on us often by text just to make sure everything was perfect. Love that we were very close to everything but didn't have to stay in a busy area. It is an old and quiet neighborhood. He obviously takes pride in every detail. He gave us our privacy but we ended up meeting him on our last day. He showed us his other property and one that would be open soon. They are just as nice. We will definitely be staying at his properties if we are back in the area.

Perfect from beginning to end

A cute place to stay with all the amenities of home and then some! Tony has thought of everything. And what a bargain!! He makes himself readily available for the duration of the stay. And is wonderful to talk to. There is generally a welcome committee to greet you upon arrival - a couple neighborhood cats who are very sweet. I know I'm not the first to say that when you come into the neighborhood, it might give you pause. But it's really ok and convenient. The rental more than makes up it. If I have a chance to return to Charleston, I will certainly book with Tony again. 🙂

Would visit again

We stayed here over New Years holiday. The accommodations were nice, and the little touches added to the property made it feel very welcoming. I appreciated the little chocolates on the bed, coffee bar area, few drinks/snacks and the bottle of wine waiting on us. It felt luxurious. With that being said, when you first arrive to the area it will look questionable… but the inside will definitely surprise you! I will say the area was LOUD… it was New Years, but I still found the party/fireworks until 4 am to be excessive. There are planes that travel overhead which also woke us up on occasion, but obviously nothing that can be fixed. My only true complaint was a concern I had about the front door, and the owner was helpful in answering, but I do not think it was resolved. Overall I would recommend this if you are looking for a good price in North Charleston. It seemed like nothing was more than 15 minutes away!

Excellent Place to Stay

I stayed at Tony’s studio for a weekend with my daughter. We were celebrating her 12th birthday and flew in late on a Friday night. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get in until after midnight so we were thrilled to find that there was water/soda in the refrigerator and a variety of snacks as well (A bottle of wine was also available). This studio has EVERYTHING needed for a trip to the area…fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, closet space, TV, music, movies, cold AC, and off street parking. The location is perfect as it close to the highway and centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go all around the Lowcountry. Nothing was more than 20 minutes away (unless you run into heavy beach/downtown traffic). I saw the host a couple times as we came and went…Tony is very friendly and accommodating. My daughter loved the neighborhood cats, especially the white and orange one that is missing part of her ear (her name is Sweetie and she loves to be pet). This is the perfect place for one or two people to stay at and I will definitely stay here on future trips.
