The room was clean, but you can really see the age of the building. The beds were clean, the bathroom was clean but is in need of repair (tile is moldy, drain stop missing, tub, two different colors, and rust around the door and toilet. The staff was very accommodating and helped us check in early. We had a little issue with the in room ac unit and it was replaced on the spot by maintenance staff. The bad began once we got our bags into our room as the adjacent room had very noisy guest who were playing music loudly and we could hear the children running and yelling; the staff was able to get them to quiet down and after 3rd time the noise stopped; music played all night and can hear people talking all night. We began winding down and were headed to the pool when we noticed it was “out of service” which was the main reason for our stay. After speaking with the front desk, we decided to stay due to the time and lack of availability of other hotels in the area. We found out there is a train track right behind the hotel which you can both hear and feel the trembling in our second floor room. Overall our experience was good, just a lot of frustration as none of these things were pointed out in the description or warned prior to our arrival the pool was not operational. As of 2/14/2026 the pool is broken. Check out was easy, breakfast was good.

The guy at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The disappointment comes with the pool. I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool. I arrived and there was a note at the front desk that it was closed and if that bothered us we could get a full refund. The thing is, I just drove a few hrs, it was getting late and had my kids with me after a long day of work...not finding a new hotel last minute. Also, when we got into our room it smelled like smoke really bad. We left our bathroom vent on and it got a little better, but really wasn't super happy about it.

Clean place but the building is basically falling apart. Their pool room is closed and they're definitely not going to fix it. Through the door you can see black mold, chunks of ceiling that have fallen into the pool and deck, and it looks very dystopian. The whole place has the vibe of being on the edge of getting torn down. The spooky vibe is palpable. Breakfast is what you'd expect but the yogurt cups are great and kitchen Staff are attentive and they have a waffle machine. Staff in general is friendly and helpful, thankfully. Small bathrooms with no counter space.This is definitely more of a last resort hotel if you need an extended stay with a pet. Ended up here in between apartments for a few weeks. Overall not a bad stay, you're getting what you pay for. Just wish the property was better taking care of and not so obviously neglected. They also need to remove their pool from listings because that thing is being left to rot, literally.

Convenient location for Quinnipiac. Staff nice and helpful. Hotel is old and not well maintained. It was clean and very cost effective. Suite room was good for one night. Feels a bit run down. Small fitness center. Pool was closed. Breakfast was ok. Good discount option.

Exterior needs work, security side doors need to be properly installed. Room decor is old, walls and ceiling and bathroom needs remodeling. The heating system worked fine. Bedding was decent, room was clean. Decent towels. Parking was good and free. There were security cameras for parking lot..assuming they are working..Also cameras in hallways.The TV and channels were adequate. Breakfast was ok. Id rate is a 2 /5 Stars.

Room was awful. Whole place smelled like Marijuana. Loud noises all night in hallway; Phone calls to desk went unanswered. TV has 40 channels and is still coaxial cable; WIFI did not work and is unsecured. I was unable to access any work-related materials and could not conduct remote hearing from Japan as needed. Never again.
