「Hotel is average didn't really see any hotel staff after check-in. we paid for the full buffet breakfast for 3 nights, I would suggest avoiding this if you like a well cooked English breakfast, cooked items bacon eggs sausage mushrooms all cold first day eggs sat in oil. Staff in restaurant not particularly friendly. Stayed at this hotel same time last year and I feel the standards have slipped.」

「Good position in middle of town,easy to get to buses/trains etc. Fusty smell in entrance when you first arrive. Staff on reception very helpful and friendly. We stayed in double room 330,it was very poky and tired looking and very dreary. One window facing a building.No bedside table,no hairdryer but bag for one. Staff fetched one when asked very quickly. Only one bath towel but supplied three when asked. We stayed for two nights,no housekeeping on second day,no milk replenished,tea etc. I...

「All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.」

「Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.」

「Needs a good update. A bit of a throwback to the 70s! Room clean.but in a poor state of repair. Not impressed that you have to pay £7 a day for parking in the hotel car park which adds to tbe overall cost!」
