"Loved it "

"Really enjoyed staying at the Mayflower. I am the type of traveler that just needs a place to sleep and use as a base while exploring. Yes, the hotel is dated, but I would say "vintage" instead. It is clean and the staff are kind and helpful. I loved operating the vintage elevators. If you are expecting all luxury hotel amenities at the value rates that this place charges, don't book. If you want a clean, quiet, well located hotel for an great rate in SF, this is your place. My standard queen room had a fridge and microwave, and some basic dishes and utensils. No in room coffee. They have coffee and a basic continental breakfast dining room off the lobby. The store nextdoor has everything you could need. Oh, and had a walk in closet. Don't see that....ever."

"Very nice and welcoming place. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice layout of pool area. Nice variety of breakfast selections. Quiet rooms even on the traffic side of the building. Looking forward to staying there again."
