“I have forgotten to take back my passport during checkin. On the next day of checkout I was super panic that I have lost my passport. I searched all my luggages and could not find it. At the end I realized the receiption has kept it. I am UNSURE why they did not return the passport to me to my room. A large part of the bathroom facilities are rusted making it a bit uncomfortable. ”

“Overall, it is a very nice hotel. Like apartment, you have kitchen, bathroom, living room and so on. Not so many choices but good breakfast. It’s not safe in Calama, so it’s a good idea to choose a hotel like this with gate and security. ”

“I can’t say enough about this place. The lodge was fantastic and the personal service was beyond compare. The host arranged taxis and we even got breakfast as a takeaway when we had a very early departure. The lodge is located just beyond the San Pedro urban zone and was a 10 minute car ride at most.”

“Great location, amazing view, parking not gated but cctv. Easy to walk to town. El gringo surf wave easy to walk to and watch. Clean and modern. Food there is excellent.”

“I didn’t enjoyed my stay at Modular Express, the only thing I liked was the included breakfast and that is near the airport. Rooms are small and noisy, personal has no customer service attitude, prices are really high in their mini market and meals, and only accept card, no cash. When you go to the cafetería, there are other workers that go too, from mining companies I guess.”
