“This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. “First and foremost, Shane, the renter, was amazing to deal with. Always answered my questions quickly. Home was perfect for a girls weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. The location is amazing on the lake. Saw a loon, a swan and an albino squirrel. Kitchen had plenty of everything you need. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Some things are a little dated, but never bothered us. I can't wait to plan another girls weekend here!”

“Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.”
