“The house was perfect for our party of 16 people. We brought air mattresses to be on the safe side but did not need them. There was a bed for every body. 8 adults 8 kids. Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen, dinning and living room configuration was the best. Lots of space to all be together. The house was immaculate and there are plenty of linens. We had a great get away.”

“We had a large group (~18) that stayed at the Bowman Inn during the off season (early May). The property was as advertised and provided a spacious, peaceful location for our group's retreat. Easy access to hiking and good indoor and outdoor spaces to relax on site. Definitely recommend for other large groups!”

“Our host Marianne made our stay very relaxing. She is very accommodating and very responsive. We like to hike with our dog. The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. We would recommend this property to anyone with a pup who enjoys the outdoors but also likes quiet at night. ”

“We really enjoyed staying at this little cottage. We have been coming to the Jackson area for years, and it was great to find this place that had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Memorial Hospital which we ended up having to visit while we were there. I have never met such nice people at a hospital. Linda was a great host who went over and above what we expected. We will be back again!”

“Perfect place a a ski reunion with old friends to ski in the valley, close proximity to North Conway, quiet neighborhood with all the amenities you would need. Very enjoyable experience.”

“Overall, what an amazing place, Well kept and very clean. Internet was kind of unreliable, didn't reach a lot of places but we made due. Biggest complaint, I reached out by text to 2 different numbers but never got a response. They weren't big issues, but still. I've been renting thru VRBO for many years and this is by far my family's favorite.”

“This home is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood and was so peaceful. The owners have made sure all necessary kitchen items are there to use and the gas fireplace was such an added treat!”

We really enjoyed the nice kitchen (could use a better quality cutting board), large dining room table, comfy chairs and couch with lots of cozy blankets, and most of all the spectacular view out over the lake! As other have said, the distribution of beds/rooms is a bit unusual, with only one queen bed in its own room, and the other queen in an open loft, and no bathroom on the main floor, but it still worked out great for our……

“We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun. Would recommend streamlining instructions, and removing trash as we had……

“This was a perfect house in a perfect location! We had plenty of space to spread out - bedrooms across 3 different levels of the home, and a very cozy main level for hanging out together. We loved that this location is close to the best attractions in the White Mountains, but just off the beaten path making it easy to access and more relaxing. Overall our visit was great and we would absolutely return to this home again!”

“The place was great; clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient location to things we were doing. Just a couple of things to note as an FYI for the owners. Toilet tank leaked occasionally, I put a bucket under it, to capture the water. The kitchen sink, spray hose would not shut off. Also, a critter, probably a red squid, was in the upper left bedroom cubby. We had a great week and hope to return soon. Thank you Ken”
