"Our second visit and it didn't disappoint. A wonderful quayside guest house with views of the beach one side and the harbour the other. The hosts Karen and Graham are lovely people, nothing is too much trouble. A good hearty breakfast is available with plenty of choice to start your day.The rooms are clean and tidy with all the amenities you need. Enjoyed every minute, such a relaxing place. Highly recommend 👏👏"

"The Cavendale was very clean, in an excellent area for visiting the beach as it was just over the road. I had a room with a beach view but you sometimes get a view of the port area it’s not a commercial port. There’s no worry. It’s just a good view as well. The staff are really helpful bonus for me when I was there was that there was actually a fan in the room to be used obviously at the moment we’re going through a heat wave this is June 26. The building is a listed building so it’s not brand-new but it is okay. There is no lift there and I was on the third floor so it was like a 50 step climb to the room so you need to be fairly fit if you get one of them rooms breakfast was really good fantastic choice."

"Just returned from a two night stay at The Lantana and have to say that the hosts John and Sandra were the perfect hosts, so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Our room on the second floor overlooked the Harbour which was a great view and was a lovely room and spotlessly clean. The Breakfast had everything you could want, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast and pastries and Sandra would cook anything else you wanted, ie eggs bacon sausages. When you find a parking space by the B&B they give you a parking permit for as long as your stay, which is a great help. We would defiantly return again and would recommend to friends and family."
