Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. "I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! "

"This Hotel was booked as a single night stop over on our way from Chamonix to Caen. After a 650km drive it was a really welcome sight. Although next to a commercial area / retail park, the hotel is enclosed by trees, feels private and has plenty of parking. The hotel is bright and airy and very comfortable. We opted for the Executive double room when we booked a few days in advance of our stay so we had a sofa and somewhere to sit. On reflection the standard double rooms are probably just as comfortable based on what we could see in the website. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. The evening meals were very tasty too and reasonably priced. The bar had a good selection of drinks and the swimming pool is a great amenity too. We would definitely stay at a Westotel again."
