“as a fan of one Lord Byron I was excited to stay here. the staff at the museum and the surrounding neighbors were so helpful, and thank goodness for that! as someone who came by cab and unfortunately arrived later than planned because both trains I took to get there arrived late - finding the keys after a 20 minute walk from the front gate to the Abbey was nearly impossible! first of all the check-in instructions have no code for the main gate in order to access the grounds. So it is impossible……

“Excellent well designed modern lodge in superb condition. Ensuite bedrooms, comfortably furnished lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Peaceful, secure countryside setting. Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. ”

VRBO on the other hand mislead us by assuring us that the property was mobility accessible which it was not.. This created significant problems for the severely dialed member of the group and the carer. We double checked accessibility just weeks prior to arrival date and were again assured the property was accessible. It was not.”
