Oak island getaway

Property was nice and as advertised. Outdoor spaces could use a little sprucing up but overall was comfortable and nice for the weekend! Pool was nice and refreshing!

Backyard Paradise

Blue Moon Beach Cottage exceeded my expectations. The home was comfortable and well-appointed, meeting all our needs. The highlight was the beautiful backyard pool. It was the perfect way to end our day at the beach. We arrived after a storm, and Itrip made sure that the pool was cleaned and ready for use the very next day. Would definitely recommend this home for your next trip to Oak Island.

Fantastic stay

We stayed for 3 nights and had so much fun. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, the area quiet. It was close to the beach and the pool was wonderful. I would highly recommend the house!

True Oasis

Excellent!! This property was so much more than I expected! We drove from NYC to vacay in NC to enjoy the warm ocean waters but ended up spending most of our time on the property/pool.

Blue Moon Beach Cottage

The Blue Moon Beach Cottage was everything it was promised to be. The pool was great and we spent a lot of time there. The house itself was comfortable. It was a quick drive around the block to the beach where we found plenty of parking. We enjoyed the screened porch for afternoon reading and naps. Would highly recommend to someone looking for a secluded, relaxing getaway close to the beach.

Beach Getaway

Beautiful property. Clean, neat and comfortable. The only suggestion would be to place some night lights in the hall and kitchen area so people can see if they get up at night. Otherwise it was great.

Nice stay overall.

The property is in a good location and the house itself was clean. The commutation was good. However, the house needs a few upgrades. Pots and pans weren’t very good and the house just needs a few updates. The yard was not in good shape. The yard needs to be cleaned up and the trees need pruning. We had a problem with insects. Lots of mosquitoes and flies. Outdoor furniture should be cleaned before people arrive. They had a lot of webs and debris on them. To be fair the price was nice but a few small changes would go a long way for renters to leave a 5 star review.

Family vacation

This cute little home was the perfect spot for my daughters and parents and me to escape to for the week. Small and cozy the open floor plan of the kitchen/dining/living room was comfortable for everyone to spread out. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but were more than adequate. We enjoyed the location-tucked at the end of the street. Great communication with the host during our stay and prompt responses to any questions/issues that might arise. Our small dog LOVED the private fenced in backyard and pool area and due to the heat advisories daily the shady backyard and screened in porch were a daily hangout spot. Overall we were delighted with the trip. Great beach and plenty of convenient grocery stores and restaurants within a few mile radius. Thanks so much!

Good beach getaway

The positives: Liked the place - spacious and clean inside. Good location, too. The communication with the property manager was prompt. Nice welcoming package upon arrival. The negatives: The pool was not clean when we arrived, so we had to wait a day for it to be cleaned in order to use it. The pool is right next to another large rental house that overlooks the pool, so it’s not “private.” The outdoor trash can was overrun with maggots when we arrived (can’t fault the owners but it was not a pretty sight). Lots of barking dogs in surrounding houses kept our pups alert more than we had hoped. Summary: Good option for a getaway place at the beach.
