The communication between the 2 locations in Alameda CA is very very poor. As a result the Airport location could not find my reservation that had been sent over by the Mariner square location. I did not stay or occupy the room as it was in terrible shape. The next day they charged my card $680 for the 6 nights & a no show fee. I am currently waiting for a refund that they say is coming but has not materialized. The staff did not seem to care and responded with surprise that I was upset. I will never recommend Extended Stay to anyone. Quite the opposite, I will tell friends, family, and strangers to stay away. In addition, the one night I did stay @ the Mariner Square location the person above me was dragging furniture across the room till after midnight. This was by far the worst hotel and customer service experience of my life. And I’m a senior citizen so that’s say something. Save yourself hassle, grief, loss of money and sleep and book an Airbnb!!
