I came to this same place last year. Last year it was amazing. This year, it was okay. It's still a beautiful place. The staff were all very nice. However, this year we had a leaky sink that was fixed immediately after reporting it, but it leaked again and got our clothes and makeup wet. It was just inconvenient. Also, down at the beach, last year the service was to take care and umbrella down to the beach for you. This year my 78 year old mom and I were asked to bring it all back up. The staff did end up helping us bring the stuff up, but that service alone was what brought me back for a second stay. Unless you email or text me that you are bringing that full service back, I won't be scheduling another stay there next summer. Being at the beach was amazing though. Oh, also, at the hi/low restaurant -the only place that felt comfortable to go to for breakfast. The service was terrible, with exception to our very last day there. The young man, I believe his name was Jacob, gave us amazing service. We ate there almost every day for the week and every day, except for the last there was terrible service. It took almost an hour to get coffee and hot tea on the first visit. The actual food was amazing, so props to the cook, but the waitresses seemed to be totally checked out. Truly how difficult is it to get refills for guests after a first cup of coffee. It didn't happen for us, except for our very last day. We saw many others have the same experience as us too
