Mirror Lake Retreat rests at the end of a quarter-mile long drive through pines and has a wall of glass overlooking the 11-acre private lake. The open floor plan's huge kitchen will support a large gathering. The host has kayaks and flat-bottomed boats available. This home's deck is huge with many chairs, dining table and a charcoal grill. Bounded by National Forest on one side and highway on two others, the property is secluded and peaceful. Road noise was occasionally noticeable when outside, and while not bothersome, it's not quite like being in the middle of nowhere. It was a treat to watch the bats feeding over the lake and a couple deer around it each evening. The host was a pleasure to meet and very quick to respond (15 mins) when we had an issue with a lock. By luck, we were this property's first guests (2 grandparents, daughter, 9 yr. old grandson) and almost everything in the home was brand new. It was a wonderful experience we recommend.
