Under renovation as of early July 2025. (1) It needs a renovation, so good for them. (2) Staying at a hotel while its being renovated has some issues naturally.

I always request the highest floor available. The property accommodated this request; however, their elevator is out of service and I did not know until my arrival/check-in. They said this is clearly posted on their website. I told them I booked through Expedia and wasn’t aware. They could not move me to a lower floor. Using the stairs was not pleasant with luggage. Additionally, the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work and it appeared it may have been this way awhile, as the reset button was cracked. Did I overlook the elevator outage on Expedia?

DO NOT STAY HERE !!! My reservation was from May 2nd - May 4th. On May 2nd we arrived at approximately 10:00 pm. There was a big note on the door stating “elevators are out of order. There are stairs on the right and left to use. Sorry for the inconvenience.” As we proceeded to check in to our room, I asked the front desk resceptionist “merley” if there was any possible chance for us to request a room change to the 1st floor since I had a recent knee injury. It was not stated on Expedia nor on the Hilton App that their hotel was “being renovated and that the elevators were out of order” otherwise I would’ve never booked with Hampton Inn. “Merley” was very dry in her responses and stated “all rooms are occupied right now but you can come back tomorrow morning and see if maybe someone checks out for you all to move to a room on the first floor.” Mind you, we had a tournament to go to for one of my kids the next day which is an all day event. I told her we would be leaving to the tournament at approximately 8 am and wouldn’t be returning until later in the day. She stated “you can come back at noon and see if anything is available, whoever is working in the morning can help you,” with such a careless attitude. We proceeded to keep the room in the third floor that they gave us and went up and down the stairs as necessary. So much happened that does not fit in this “review box” but basically we did not get a room change until the next afternoon at approximately 2:00 pm..

Property is in a great area right next to Memorial Park and also next to Music City Mall. Dining options are also close by.
