Cute and quiet Ohawe cottage
Very private, newly refurbished, one bedroom cottage at friendly Ohawe Beach - a great place to unwind and relax. Five minute walk to the beach which is great for surfing, fishing, swimming, poking around in rock pools or just walking (it’s dog friendly too). Safe water hole for swimming in nearby Waingongoro River.
Ohawe is just a 7 minute drive from Hawera for shopping, eating out, cafes, museum, parks and gardens. Easy access to Mount Taranaki for walking and cycling tracks, Dawson Falls, Surf Highway 45 and just an hour away from New Plymouth.
This cottage has everything you need including a comfortable double bed, Smart TV, DVD player, BBQ, washing machine and new shower. Has a private garden, deck, plenty of parking space and located on a quiet road.
DOGS ALLOWED ON REQUEST (please advise what breed of dog/s and how many - there is a small $10 fee per night for dogs). The property has a fully fenced garden.

The Bach was lovely. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach. Shower was powerful and the water was hot, there were fluffy towels and the place was very clean with everything we needed. Appreciate the tea/coffee supplies. Would definitely recommend, especially as it is pet friendly.

We loved our stay here!! It’s a little paradise, feels so private and a great place to relax. The cottage is really well set up, super clean and comfortable, and the garden is stunning! The cottage is small but spotlessly clean, private and comfortable. The lack of a freezer was offset by the ice maker which we used to make ice for the chilly bin when we went out for the day. The washing machine in the shed was perfect! The location is great for a beach walk or a 45 min. drive to get to mountain tracks or Rotokare Scenic Reserve. Stores are a quick 15 minute drive away.

Perfection
Beautiful quiet spot. Spotlessly clean. Comfy and cosy with extra blankets etc. Dog friendly, being fully fenced. Laundry facilities. And well supplied kitchen. Its everything you would need. We stay at numerous places but this is definitely our favourite for a quiet few days away. Thank you so much. We will be back!!
