Check in was only from 16.00 and even when I called that I needed only the keys as we were busy all afternoon and evening it wasn't possible not even without accessing the rooms. That was very inconvenient and unhelpful. The rest was OK. Rooms are big, had a balcony, and a small sitting area, beds were OK, duvets were a bit small, bathrooms a tad small, hot and cold water for the shower hard to tune to the right temperature. Breakfast was plentyful and enough, cereals included gluten free varieties.

In der Beschreibung steht, das genügend Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Dem war nicht so , ich musste, auf dem Rathausplatz parken. Das war aber kein Problem, da der nur 2 Schritte entfernt war. Das Restaurant am Haus , kann man nur empfehlen, Personal super freundlich und Essen super.

Fast alles hat mir nicht gefallen, vor allem das Check in um 16 Uhr und das Check out um 10 Uhr ist überhaupt nicht fair. das Frühstück ist gut und die personal in Restaurant ist freundlichen und professionell, Die Rezeption ist sehr unfreundlich und eingebildet. Das Zimmer ist sehr alt und nicht sauber

Do not try to check in off hours! We stumbled on the local Oktoberfest which was great fun, but one stays in Ohlsbach as a tourist to visit elsewhere.

A short break.

We only stayed for three nights, next time we will try and make it a week. The hotel, the staff and the area make it the sort of place you can feel comfortable staying in and visiting.
