“Property is just as described. The porch over the water is serene. Fish weren't biting, the area is slightly flooded, but a very relaxing getaway. The bed is comfortable. Everything you need for cooking is available, just bring your groceries and don't forget the coffee. The town of Jefferson is nearby with nice restaurants and plenty of antique shops.”

“The place was an alright place to stay, especially for the price. The floors are uneven and the dishes available were lacking, there were not enough for us to eat. The couch is needing updated and the beds are not the most comfortable, but not the worst we have ever slept on. There was lots of room for us to spread out, which was nice. We did see a cockroach while we were there, but I believe it is typical in the area.”

“My family and I traveled from all over the country to Shreveport for my LSUS graduation. This house was a great place for us to gather, and it is beautiful. Perfect home feeling, nestled in Lousiana’s nature. We enjoyed the view of the lake and did some kayaking. Gathered around the table inside and out and enjoyed meals together. Ventured out and visited the Lousiana Boardwalk. Chris answered all my questions and inquiries, before we arrived and during our stay. I would absolutely stay again,……

“The house was nice. Cute home on the water. This was our second stay. We loved our first visit in December so we decided to come back in May. Beware of our close the neighbor home is. They are literally 1 foot away. During this stay, a group of young (early 20s) people through a party next door”

The Cabot had everything we needed and the sleepnunber bed was definitely an added plus. Location was very close to local casinos and historic Jefferson,Tx. “This was the most beautiful property!! We fished, we danced and played lots of games. It was not a far drive from town where we enjoyed the casinos. This place was FULLY stocked!
