“Upon arrival, I discovered that the fire alarm in the room was over nineteen months past its expiration date. When I raised this concern with hotel staff, Chris was very rude and sarcastic and said that the alarm was still “working” because it had a blinking light — despite it clearly being expired and potentially non-functional in a real emergency.
