"This is a very nice, family run hotel. Food in the evening was excellent, as was breakfast. The building is quite old, but it works. The area is very nice, and the water is very close by. If you're wanting to stay in this area of the island, we would recommend this hotel. "
"The apartment worked for our small family very well. Separate bedrooms is such a plus when traveling with an adult child.
International travelers should be aware of a few things: there are no soaps, shampoo, etc included unless a previous guest leaves some behind.
AND there are no linens / towels automatically included, they must be ordered ahead of time and paid separately. If you don’t know this and roll in late and the restaurant is closed you will be sleeping on beds with no linens.
AND you are expected to clean the unit top to bottom unless you pay for an extra fee for cleaning. They say they will charge you for having to clean the unit if it does not meet their standards.
When we checked in I found the toilet was dirty with dirty tissues in the bowl and toilet paper plastered to the top rim. So I don’t know how closely they inspect the units.
The property is in very good condition, our unit had no mechanical or maintenance problems. There was a table and 4 chairs available on a private porch along with a grill. Plenty of parking for everyone. A very short walk down to the small beach.
This property would be great for a relaxing vacation, the island has everything you need with groceries and shopping.
We didn’t eat at the restaurant so i can’t comment on it, but they did have a wood fired oven for pizza.
I would stay here again knowing what I know now, but definitely plan differently. Also having to pay for linens & cleaning ups the base price.
