「This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

「We stayed there recently and we absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub. Shaun and Jody are amazing hosts. Our cabin as one of the cabins that isn’t quite remodeled yet but it’s in great condition and was big enough for an entire family ! It was spotless and the bed was comfortable. My only wish list was to have a mountain view but for the price I’d definitely stay there again. We loved how close we were to the lake and Chimney Rock. Great place to relax and breathe in the fresh air.」

Property is surrounded by other houses but we only saw one other person the entire time (and one bear minding his own business walking down the street). Check-in and out were low stress and easy. The owners were kind and responsive and even checked on us when they heard a storm warning had come through! We love Black Mountain and are so glad to have a place to come back and stay next time!」

「This cabin is in a perfect location, with stunning a long views and an outdoor hot tub. The pros include wide open floor plan, great shower, plenty of linens and easy to use entertainment. The cons are the whole place feels a little bit shabby, with all the woodwork caulked but not finished, lots of stinkbugs inside, and poorly equipped, mis-matched kitchen gear.
