“My 3 sons and myself have hunted in Raton for several years and this is the best house by far that we have stayed at. Everything went seamlessly for our stay!”

“Very quiet and tranquil! Had everything you need, stayed in the end of December and the two heaters worked great! Great hiking trains and 4x4 trails to see the elk!”

“We loved staying here and know we will come again. Just a few suggestions: the cooktop was really dirty! The bathroom rugs didn’t look too clean, could use more towels and washcloths, the bath mat in the tub didn’t look too sanitary, there was a carton of eggs in the refrigerator that held empty shells that looked pretty gross. We loved the swing on the front porch, so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.”

“Staff was very nice. Room is large and has big dresser and place for hanging clothes. Comfy bed. Great breakfast. ”

“It was about what I expected for the price. Only real downside was the shower head was really bad. Needs to be replaced. Room air conditioner quieter than most hotels.”

“The evening and morning staff were very nice and knew the answers if/when we had a question. The beds were comfortable. We did have a small issue with the TV remote but the front desk helped us out.”

“ It is older motel . It is econo package. but all i needed was safe clean place lay my head. Extremely well lit, felt safe,clean. I make this trip twice a year and will stay again ”
