Old Fort

Pros: Clean rooms, nice staff, close to the beach. Cons: resort fees per day, and hearing the noise outside my room (inside the hotel from staff or other guests). Overall, it was a nice and peaceful experience.

I recently stayed at 1 Hotel South Beach and it completely exceeded expectations. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is different—in the best way possible. The entire property has a clean, natural aesthetic with warm wood tones, soft lighting, and that signature fresh scent that instantly puts you at ease. The rooms are where this place really shines. Everything feels intentional and elevated—from the calming neutral color palette to the high-end finishes and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the in-room touches like robes, slippers, and eco-friendly amenities made it feel like a true luxury escape rather than just a hotel stay. The service matched the environment—professional, attentive, and never overbearing. Every interaction felt smooth and genuine, which is rare. The pool and beach setup are easily some of the best in South Beach. Plenty of space, great energy, and a perfect balance between relaxing and lively. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind during the day and still feel like you’re part of something upscale and social. What really sets this hotel apart is the vibe. It’s luxury without being flashy. Everything feels curated, modern, and intentional. If you’re looking for a place that feels high-end but still comfortable and grounded, this is it. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Miami, and this one stands out. I’d come back without hesitation.

Excellent view, expensive room snacks and for what we paid, the bed could be replaced. Everything else was above standard. We enjoyed it especially the balcony
