“This was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the family room and paid for breakfast, which was delivered to the room by 8o’clock. It was comprised of breads, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Great location to visit Omaha Beach, museums, and the American memorial.”

“Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here……

“We had a wonder stay at the Chateau Des Monts during the D Day festivities. The chateau was so peaceful and charming, and the hosts were so warm and friendly. This is one of our top memories of our trip to France.”

“Wonderful location, wonderful hosts. Lovely B&B perfectly located away from the D-Day towns and beaches, but only minutes from the important sites by car. My only regret is over-scheduling outside events, we would have preferred more time just enjoying the place. We WILL be back!”

“This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard.……

The hotel is very charming, well decorated, and had all we needed. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you!”

“Lovely hotel right in the middle of the village so really easy to walk to restaurants etc. Themed hotel with very knowledgeable and friendly owner. The museum in the square definitely worth a visit.”

“Fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view, and it’s right next to the excellent d-day museum. No parking on site, but that’s not a big issue. There’s a public parking lot a two minute walk away, for a very reasonable price. The room was small and the most bothersome thing was the heavy cobwebs at the window - they could clean those windows once a month, perhaps.”
