“We had turn up at lodge to find keys waiting our arrival with note for owner, room was found to be very clean as was amenities when walk around. However we DID not stay due to the bathroom and shower configuration. I did not remember seeing stated toilets are shower are unisex (mixed) both in the same area this made me feel uncomfortable especially as I am prone to using toilets in the middle of the night no issues sharing with ladies but with strange men yes. I am sorry if this sounds raciest……

“The room was clean, sizeable and the jetted spa bath absolutely superb. But that’s where it ends. We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards. Where it really fell short was the experience and service. Originally opting for Sisu around the corner, we felt we should dine at the restaurant given we were staying as guests and that we could support this local establishment. We waited 1 hour and 15……

“I didn’t get the promised text or email telling me what room I was in. I called the help number but it wasn’t answered. I left a message but have never been called back. I have tried that number about 12 times but it always goes to answer phone. There was another phone number mentioned on my earliest Expedia correspondence and when I called it an Indian man said I had a wrong number. When I checked in, there was only an 8 year old boy there and he sent me to a room that was already occupied. He……

“The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place.”

“French Fields is a breath taking place to stay. Beautiful Lavender fields, Olive & fruit trees. Lovely pool area, very clean and private. Accommodation was amazing, with its own private patio surrounded by Rosemary & Lavender. The aromas were incredible. We stayed in the Lavender suite. It was gorgeous, spacious and quaint all at the same time. Cute little kitchenette tucked into a cabinet, roomy sitting area and adorable raised area for the King sized bed. Breakfast provided was……
