Omis in Croatia is a small Central Dalmatian town located between Split and Makarska, situated in the mouth of the Cetina river, surrounded with massive gorges. In the past Omis was notorious because of the pirates of Omis whose ships were a centuries-long symbol of retaliation, courage and strength. Today, it is the centre of Omis Riviera, one of the most beautiful parts of Croatia's Adriatic Coast.

Numerous beaches and bays, rich vegetation, fresh air and crystal blue sea make Omis Riviera the perfect place to ecsape the stress and rush of modern life

I booked and paid for this apartment 3 months ahead. Just 4 days before check in date, host cancelled our reservation because of "natural disaster" - the fire that took place 20 km away from Omiś. Just a short message withexplanation sent in the middle of the night about electricity shortage. Additionally, no support from expedia with anything - just like "here's your money and get off". We are familly of 5 and we've been at Croatia already at this point, we waisted 2 days of our vacation to find another place during the high (prices) season. I'm very dispointed with the whole expirience with this host and expedia.
