~The House on the Narrow Path to the Far North~ Traditional House | Private Stay

  • Not a hotel. Stay in history.
This 80-year-old Japanese townhouse had been vacant for years until I fell in love with it and restored it myself. Located just 1 minute from the ropeway, it offers easy access to Onomichi’s temples, alleys, and local culture. This listing offers exclusive use of the entire first floor. The upper floor is off-limits during your stay, ensuring a private and comfortable experience.
Experience the charm of old Japan in a home filled with history and character.
Perfect for travelers seeking an authentic local experience, quiet mornings, and unforgettable memories beyond ordinary sightseeing.
Rated 9.0 by our guests—and we’re just getting started
