「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Juliet and her husband were highly communicative and warm/welcoming. The cabin was roomy, homey and spotless! We loved the cooking amenities for making our own breakfast and enjoyed the one time they provided it to us (for a nominal fee) right to our porch! They were attentive, the place was quiet and peaceful and we'd recommend it highly. Convenient to all sites.」

「Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. 」

「The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through...

「Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

「All online descriptions do not come close to doing this place justice. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Communication during the entire process was prompt, professional, and courteous. The property is stunning, the area beautiful and serene, and the people amazingly friendly. We were taking a walk down the road and a gentleman with two small children stopped and asked if we needed a ride. I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again soon !!」
