“If you get a hot tub room, make sure you ask at the front desk for a shower mat. If you don’t and you try to take a shower without one, you will find yourself slipping all over the sloped hot tub floor. Not sure why this isn’t provided up front. Also, the room smelled a bit musty.”

“It's a typical hotel on the highway. If you're looking for the Ritz, this isn't it but it's clean, comfortable, has a VERY helpful staff and the breakfast offerings were good. Overall I like this hotel and would be happy to stay here again. You can't beat the location and local fast food choices were very good. Overall, a pleasant stay.”

“They started laying carpet and had blocked the doorway. They were so helpful and very concerned about my safety. (I use a cane). They helped me get the luggage cart from the entry, over the blocked doorways and back out to the lobby after I had loaded it. The desk manager helped me take the cart akk the way to my car and helped me Unload it. He definitely went beyond with kindness. I am already booked in for my return trip home. Excellent halfway point between my friends home and mine.”

“Really cool CCC-made cabins that are so solid. Cool inside but they have AC and a gas fireplace with a small fridge and TV with digital channels. LOTS of character. Some false ladybugs and you may get a visit from a resident mouse but put a granola bar out for her and she’ll party in the bathroom and stop making noise in the bedroom.
The restaurant food is really good—try the fish fry! And the area is beautiful and great for walking/hiking, birding, and fishing/wading. Plenty of parking.”

“The property was listed as newly renovated, and it certainly was not! Only the flooring looked new. The pictures online do not match what you actually get. Bed very hard and simply one mattress on a metal frame. Doors/locks did not feel secure. Very poorly insulated, we could hear every little noise from other rooms and the road. The first room we went into was so strong cleaning product/chemical smelling that it made eyes water and induced an asthma attack. Second room was stale old smoke……
