Brits abroad

Lovely villa with all thee comforts of home that you might need during your stay. The location, backing onto the pond is great. Sitting watching the Alligators, turtles and bird life suited us down to the ground. Don't worry about being near to the Gators, just leave them be and they will leave you be. Place isn't new but perfectly acceptable. Would certainly stay again if the circumstances arose.

Great location

Hot tub not working. Surprised that there were no wash clothes and only 1 hand towel. Had a good time. Location was great for visiting theme parks as it was not in the busy parts of the area. Never had problems with traffic. Convenient to walmart and other grocery stores.

Nice house, needs updating

House was nice and clean for the most part but does need updating. The sliding door comes off the track very often, the master bath floor had standing water, not sure if it’s from toilet leaking or from the shower leaking. Pool was nice but needed cleaning as well. We were there for a week and no one came to clean the pool. Still was a nice place to stay.

Florida vacation 2023

Everything was as advertised, Paul and Martina the owners were very forthcoming about a few problems with their property, which really did not affect our stay. The pool heater only worked half the time and the water was very chilly, and I was promised a refund for half of the money to heat the pool but as of now I have not received that. Paul and Martina are great hosts and their property is beautiful. With the exception of the pool and hot tub heating, everything was as advertised. If available for next year, I would certainly re-rent that property

A complete nightmare for graduation relaxation with pictures

It was horrible property manager and owner didn't recognize our check in pictures. We followed rules for taped floors a window is completely acceptable to the public. Had to call a police but they didn't show up. Pool could not have been cleaned. My autistic non verbal son enjoyed for one evening and was exposed to all kinds of germs including influenza B. We NEVER GET SICK.but this house was something different. The property manager and wife were rude. Put her hands in my face. And the husband left the house because he felt the window was fine.COSMETIC. ... NO WAY. ALL THE WINDOWS ARE DRY ROTTED AT THE LOCKS. I see why the people complaining about the screens. They have cranes that roam the lake eating bugs off the screen in pools. Blinds are missing in just the wrong places. The furniture is very old and dry rotted too. The living room furniture is old too. Needs to be replaced . Because my autistic non verbal son sat there after the pool time. The WiFi went out didn't even know it. Got it fixed . All just to end up at the ER with 103.6 fever and no call or response from owner. We had to reschedule our Disney tickets several times waiting on the property manager. My graduate helped to lock the window and barracaid the door but that really didn't work. I washed their towels and pillow case. I probably cleaned the house better than it was before I got there. Insurance definitely would not have been of help here. This property has outdated forms on the wall as well.

Dishonest

I wish I could leave a good review. I really do. The property was easy to get to and the neighborhood was great. PLEASE read the reviews that mention the house needs "updating"...these reviewers are being extremely generous. We booked for 10 days (10/18-10/29). After the first night, we contacted VRBO and they initiated a 3 way call with the property owner and myself. After providing several pictures of the unsafe, unsanitary and dangerous conditions that exist, Paul (owner) initially said "I need to ensure that you, the renter, didn't cause these issues". I told Paul that I didn't appreciate the insinuation. Of course... that's what I do. Travel for a full day, arrive at 1am, go around and damage the locking mechanism on every window, tear GIANT holes in the pool screen, rip holes in the kitchen floor, destroy the vertical blinds. THEN spend the night taking turns with my family sitting up to ensure nobody comes though the windows that can't be locked. Then, just for kicks, I spend the first full day of my vacation securing a nice, CLEAN, SAFE house for my family. Paul agreed and asked if we would stay, if he sent workers in the make the repairs. I told Paul that his house needed attention, but not during my vacation, and not on my dime. I didn't go on vacation to babysit a bunch of repairmen and check on their progress daily to ensure we could sleep safely. Paul (owner) eventually agreed to refund the majority of my money, minus 1 day of rental and HALF the cleaning fee. We secured a house DIRECTLY next door to Paul's house. We watched for 11 days as the pool screen stayed ripped and nothing of any substance seemed to be done to repair the damages. BUT... I did notice that Paul immediately relisted his house on VRBO, with NO mention of the issues, NO issues corrected, but a steep discount in the price. I have worked in housing since 1989. It is my profession. A reputable owner would have immediately removed his house from rental sites and made the necessary repairs. Buyer beware.

It was a good neighborhood and location to attractions

We felt it was a good place and was the right size for all of our family. We did have some issues with power in the house and 3 burners on the stove didn’t work. Response by property and owner was good.

Return visit

The first impression is a property that is clean, tidy but a bit tired in need of a wee bit TLC. But look beyond that and the place is ideal for a family group who are here for a long earned holiday. The pool, 'spa' and surrounding area are ideal for having a lazy time. There's a bit fishing in the retention pond. Easy access to shops and attractions. Local shops at Cagan's Crossing are good. Remeber to bring in your first night essentials as due to Covid all the cupboards are emptied of everything including salt and pepper. Enjoy your visit - we did.

Beautiful villa

The villa is in a great neighborhood, close to Orlando and other shopping places. This is the third time we stay in this house, and we always have a great time. The house needs a bit of attention, the fence at the pool has holes and rips, one of the doors is missing a latch. The lighting inside the pool and the bubbles in the spa didn’t work till the last night. For the price the property is just right

Universal/Disney Vacay

Everything was great. Pool was clean, the house needs a little bit better cleaning inside. A few things that disappointed us was there was literally nothing already in kitchen such as seasonings or everyday food items that are used. Not even salt and pepper. Or cooking oil, paper towels nothing. And if we were a bigger family one toilet paper roll per bathroom will not do. At every VRBO we have stayed at so far has been stocked with everyday cooking items as those I listed and after the long drive we dreaded having to go buy simple things like that. Everything else was great. Neighborhood is great too.

perfect stay but more cleaning

779 / 5,000 Translation results the stay was very pleasant but it needs more cleaning especially on the outside the entrance very dirty the walls with cobwebs and other things, the pool a little more maintenance lacked water and on the edges inside with mold and the plastic that They make it dirty, that's why the dirty water and the pool furniture are made of plastic, but with the passing of time the sun is toasting them, so they really need to be changed and those in the living room give them a good wash, and pa bo let them pass in the room You need a bigger TV and in the rooms also bigger and more modern that takes away from how beautiful the rooms are. But the area and the house is perfect for family and a good rest I wish to return and with those little tips it would be the perfect stay thank you.

I didn’t have a bad experience but not good either,it was ok. Sheets were clean on beds, however the blankets weren’t. The shower liner in the bathroom was filthy to the point where we took it off. No broom or mop provided. Juice stains in the freezer and fridge that could’ve been easily wiped off. The hot water only works for about 5-10 minutes. They tell you to take the sheets and blankets off befor you leave and the bed cover underneath are filthy as well. It’s a nice house but definitely needs to be cleaned correctly each time before new guests come in.

basic comforts

The property was centrally located to everything and very convenient. The beds were very comfortable. The cleanliness of the house was terrible. The floors were so dirty we wore sandals or something on our feet the entire time to avoid getting our feet dirty. The pots and pans were greasy and apparently not washed after their last use. Basic maintenance on the house has not occured lately. The light fixtures in the main bathroom were missing bulbs. One light fixture was missing completly. The toilet tissue fixture had fallen off the wall (I subsequently repaired it). The exterior to the washer and dryer was very dirty as was the clothes basket. We were going to clean the floors, but the cleaning equipment was so filthy it couldn't be used. There were other annoying random maintenance things that should be taken care of, but had the cleaniness been taken care of this property would have been worth the cost.

Nice home, needs some care

Overall the house is spacious and clean and was in a decent neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. On the other hand there were several items we want others to know before booking. First off the week of our reservation we received a note with instructions. The instructions included an additional fee to heat the hot tub & pool that was not mentioned earlier. Since this was a huge drawing point for the property we decided to pay it. $25 a day. We were really looking forward to getting in for a soak after a 10 hour travel day. Unfortunately they were not heated when we got there. We called the property manager who said the pool guy should have come by and she would have him check it. Then she told us to cycle the hot tub a few times to get the temp up. We got a pool thermometer the temp was 69 degrees in both. We never saw the pool guy but kept trying. We could not use it for 2 of our 4 days. The water level was down 6 inches, we added water each day. After getting the water level up on day 2 the pool started heating. It took a full day to bring the temp to 92 degrees. By day 3 it was 98. Never hot. In addition there are Broken chairs in kitchen and garage that are unsafe, pool table the pool sticks are unusable and the triangle is missing, left behind empty boxes in garage, right front burner doesn’t work on stove. Doors won’t stay open in 2nd king room. Toilet paper holders 2/3 are broken. Outside chairs are broken or on the verge of, the umbrella crank is broken, screen door handle by pump is broken. Wi-Fi was not hooked up properly upon arrival—no cables were going to the router at all. Being a technical person I fixed the internet with no issues. But the name we we given for the Wi-Fi did not exist. So would I stay here again. Probably not unless the house and pool are fixed up.

Perfect location!

Comfortable accommodations, perfectly located for quick access to Disney and Universal . Lots of stores and restaurants nearby . House is bright and uncluttered , ,pool gets full sun all day . . Super easy check in . Comfy beds. Well appointed kitchen . We enjoyed our stay .

Below Average home.

The outside of the home needed to be power washed. The back deck and the screen in porch need to be cleaned and repaired. . The inside of the home needs to be updated . The floors and furniture needs to be replaced. The TV's where either old and did not work or the screen were very small . Smallest that you could buy. The beds were old box springs and every time you moved in the bed it made noises.
