Good times

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented an 8 bedroom home on surf street. Very nice house only a few things wrong during our stay. The freezer ice major did not work. The outside fans one was missing and the other did not work.the floors were a bit sticky to walk on not sure if it's the cleaner they use or not. And not a whole lot to cook with. We still had a great time had the pool and game room. House was good overall

Great house...some issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was beautiful and fit our party size of 8 perfectly! However we had a few things that we did not like. We had ants in the kitchen and the blender that was provided for use. Also the hot water in the master bedroom on the third floor was not working. We did call for service but the problem was not fixed. Overall we had a nice experience but for the price we paid those items should have been addressed and fixed.

Lots of space

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A nice place for large family but no hot water. There were 3 tank-less water heaters to serve 8 1/2 bath house so there should have been plenty of hot water. Complained to maintenance several times. They stated that the hot water heaters were set and working properly but water was lukewarm at best. Not at all hot enough for safe dish washing. Also the place was rated for 18 people. There were plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, and utensils but bigger serving bowls and cooking pots were seriously lacking. There was one serving bowl.

Incredible home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved staying at this villa. It was perfect for our party of 16 and loved that every single room had its own en-suite bathroom and king size bed. The kitchen supplies were a bit lacking (only 2 trash bags, no kitchen towels) and the margarita machine didn’t work. Also the pool alarm is soooooo annoying going in and out (although I know it’s the law). Wish we could disarm since we had no kids. Also wish there was a grill. We will definitely come back and stay again!

Perfect home!

Good stay, but needs some updates

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in several cottages in the last few years Always a great time and this one was large and pool was great, but this cottage needed a few updates to make the cost of this stay worth it Blinds- could not open the blinds downstairs due to previous damage (track was damaged). This caused going in out of the pool area a royal painCable- many rooms did not have cable tv and the LG tvs were painfully slow. Had to log into our own streaming services The towels provided throughout the cottage were just the worst. Paper thin, dingy and were so small they could not fit around any of our bodies. I live locally and actually went home to get my own towels for the weekend.

Could have been better.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was Hugh. Beautiful but needed a lot of work. Kitchen had no skillets and just 3 small pans. This in a 8 bedroom house. We called Vstays how said it was our problem. We unhappily went to Walmart to supply a house we paid $6000 for. Also house has electrical issues that are dangerous, my husband an electrician would like to talk to the owner about before someone gets hurt.

Spring Break

Reviewer Comments: The house condition and ammenities were poor for the money that paid. Ice maker didnt work, toaster was ****, 100 margarita glasses but no margarita maker, towels were garbage. The house itself was in good condition but there are obvious signs of poor maintenance. We enoyed the game room and the pool. I wish there was a way for the hot tub heat to be on without the jets. The jets were so loud that it was hard to have conversations and so powerful that you couldnt sit in front of them for but a couple minutes before they hurt. The sliding door alarm didnt work correctly and were on constantly, we called management but no one came out to fix this the whole time.

Good Orlando retreat

Great place to have a quiet escape from the craziness of Orlando. The house was huge with plenty of room for the kids. Nice heated pool and spa with lake views. The property is walking distance to the resort restaurants and amenities as well as off site restaurants.

This property was beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. Family Holiday Vacation

Plenty of space for what we needed. But overall the upkeep seemed to be lacking. We rented this house specifically for the amenities for New Years Eve having a wide age range of children to entertain for a family celebration. Upon arriving the first night it was determined the pool sticks were broken and management said they couldn’t replace them because they didn’t have any. Making the table unusable the whole trip. Then we found the ice machine broken. The gave us a small bag of ice that didn’t last long considering the amount of people, and the in unit frozen concoction machine. We needed to run out several times to buy ice and were told not fixable until after check out. At bedtime we searched for the sleep sofa bedding. Only to be told that needed to be requested in advance. And that they couldn’t provide any for the first night. Which is ridiculous. There was zero communication prior telling us that we needed to ask for it. The units were advertised as having sofa beds, so it was realistic to assume they would provide the bedding. The first morning we found that the dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen floor. We needed to keep pool towels under it and clean up water the whole stay. The second day we determined the timer for the hot tub didn’t work. It turned on but never counted down, which kept the jets continuously on which kept the spa from automatically refilling from the pool as it was supposed to. The house was stocked with start up items, however, they seemed very minimal compared to other places we have rented and we were missing items like kitchen towels and pizza cutters. It was disappointing that the list kept growing throughout our stay, and that it was evident no one is inspecting or maintaining these properties regularly. Especially even after the high rental fees charged.

Amazing House for a Weekend Away

The home was clean and spacious, and had everything we needed when we wanted to cook / chill at "home" - but we also loved that it was a quick walk to get to many restaurants and shops. I absolutely loved the overall "vibe" at Margaritaville. It is clean, with plenty of opportunities to have fun / party, but also plenty of space to relax and decompress. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Epic family Christmas trip

Reviewer Comments: Our experience was very good, the checking went well, and the folks at Margaritaville resort are fantastic. Located next to the Sunset walk promenade made going out and about for meals and entertainment quite easy. A short and nice walk away. The cottage we rented was huge and accommodated our extended family quite well. Having a bathroom with every bedroom was fantastic. The pool & hotub every night - huge plus. Went to nearby Target for incidentals during our stay. The property is well kept, clean and minor and expected wear&tear. We did notice on the last day a cockroach, but were in an area that it should not be a surprise.

Disappointed in the cottage rental interior

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In 2022 we rented two cottages and were delighted with both cottages. We expected the same this year when we rented one cottage. We were very disappointed with the cottage at 8065 Surf. The cottage was obviously not inspected for rental purposes. There were no safety bars in any of the walk in showers or tubs, which we thought were required by Disability Act. Some of us up in years had difficulties in using them. The beds especially on the first floor were extremely high and had to use a chair to step up to the bed. The living room carpet was dangerous, several people slipped on the carpet that has no floor traction. There were no instructions on how to operate any of the TV sets. There were no instructions on the light controls throughout the house. This house was not up to rental codes that we expected since the last two cottages were excellent. The pool was obviously not maintained before our arrival. We had to call for pool service. The resort itself was as wonderful as our first visit. The cottage was a great disappointment. Not a single hook on any doors or in any rooms to hand cloths or towels on. These cottages need to be inspected before rented especially for older guests.

Our family vacation 2023

Nice place to stay

Sister Weekend at Margaritaville Suites

Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderful - exactly what we needed - everyone had their own bedroom/bathroom - the pool was heated - large kitchen - big rooms to hang out in. I would highly recommend. I was not impressed with the food at the restaurant and am hoping that as the resort grows, they will add more restaurants and options for nightlife - maybe a place to listen to music and dance.
