Our stay was highly disappointing due to several management and maintenance failures:
Check-in & Service: Extremely inefficient process involving three different staff members to get keys and parking passes. Staff were dismissive of reported issues, stating that broken vending and ice machines "weren't their problem."
Room Condition: The unit was poorly cleaned; the jet tub had a visible film of scum. The layout felt dated and unprofessional.
Noise & Soundproofing: The "echo chamber" shared hallways and exterior-facing doors provided zero sound insulation. We experienced shouting, fighting, and loud music until 3 AM, resuming at 7 AM.
Odor: The elevators and exterior areas smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana. Cooking odors from other units leaked into our room.
Facilities: All ice machines were out of order. A requested ice delivery took three hours and arrived as melting bags of ice that leaked onto the floor. The TV was bolted to the wall, blocking all HDMI/USB ports and making streaming devices unusable.
Safety/Cleanliness: We encountered a trash bag containing bloody linens left by the elevator in the morning.
Billing: Despite checking out early due to these conditions, the resort still kept record as if we had stayed for the full stay.
