「Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). 」

「We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage」

「We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.」

「We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. 「There are about 30 steps from the off street parking space to the Treetops deck, but we knew that going in. One arrives at a spacious deck with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands with Russell off in the distance - hence the elevation. It was a bit too cool to dine on the deck (there is a bbq) but at the end of each day exploring it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the deck, watching the light fade.
