“Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.”

“I had an amazing experience at Al Molo 5. The breakfast with a beautiful lake view was truly unforgettable, and the hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I recommend coming by car, as there isn’t much within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is excellent — great food, very romantic atmosphere, and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Overall, a wonderful place to relax. Highly recommended!”

“The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible.”

“Sehr freundlicher Empfang, schönes grosses sauberes Zimmer in einem ausgesprochenem ruhigen Ambiente mit tollem Blick auf den See, sehr leckeres reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sehr schade, dass das hoteleigene Restaurant noch geschlossen hatte, was leider auf der Webseite nicht angegezeigt wurde.Die Anfahrt zum Hotel führt durch eine sehr enge Gasse, etwas herausfordernd für grössere PKWs, sollte unbedingt berücksichtigt werden.”
