"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. This little B&B is convenient to the train station and water walkway. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the company and recommendations. "

"The hotel is for sale and nobody had stayed there recently. He was quite surprised when we turned up. Restaurant shut and no where to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was 2 slices of cake and a coffee. Very expensive for what we got. "
