“Great location and a quiet nights sleep”

“Place is a dump. Booked 2 nights and stayed only 1 night. Woke up with a pepperoni stuck to my back that was left in the bed and a spider I luckily smashed. Friends bed in the same room had a 6” dookie stain on the edge. They clearly do not change sheets or wash them. Stay far away, the management doesn’t care about the property.”

“Without a doubt, this is an interesting and unique place to stay. The Frank Lloyd Wright influence is obvious in the hotel and Mason City downtown. Lovely old building that was extensively refurbished over 10 years and well maintained since. We stayed in the hotel on 2 dare a week apart. The first stay was booked directly with the hotel fire a Queen bed and the assigned room was toward the front of the hotel. Our 2nd stay was booked through Expedia selecting a King bed. The Expedia stay……

“We needed to change our reservation while in route to our destination. We called the hotel to accomplish the change. The staff were so helpful. Everyone did their best to assist with any needs we had. Excellent hotel, excellent staff. We would highly recommend the Sleep Inn in Charles City, IA.”

“Thank you for allowing dogs on the property. That is a plus. However, I was there four nights and had no courtesy cleaning of the room and I think that should happen at least every two nights with the provision of extra bath towels, etc..”
