“The place was extremely clean with plenty of supplies including lots of linens and kitchen tools. We had a rainy weekend and had to stay in a lot but it was very comfortable even with 4 women and the occasional visitors.”

“The house is very nice. Updated kitchen, all the bedrooms where a good size and the beds where all comfy. We had 9 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view from the living room was fantastic. I would highly recommend.”

“If your looking for a cabin in the woods this is it! Very comfy cozy, has everything you need. Love that there's a canoe for a very peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful scenic crusie on the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay! Be aware of ticks, you may want to use tick spray when going out for walks.”

“The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. Also was not expecting to have to take the trash to the road, strip beds, start laundry or make sure everything was wiped down. What was my cleaning fee for? This is just my opinion but when I’m on……

“Gorgeous location, as described. The bed was a bit firmer than our personal preference, but there were other options for sleeping. Spent most of the trip on the spectacular deck! Thank you.”

“Nice, well kept house away from the hustle & bustle of Bar Harbor for our first visit to the Coast of Maine. Loved having morning coffee on the deck with the view of the harbor and ocean and then at night sitting out taking in the star-filled sky. Only suggestion would be to leave either the porch or garage light on on the day someone new is checking in for the first time. We arrived well after dark and had a hard time seeing where the door was to enter the house.”

“What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine.”

“Bangor Grande is within easy distance to BGR airport and offers a free shuttle (or free ride app ride, which is what I needed at 4 AM). Exceptionally friendly/helpful front desk. Clean and comfortable. Did not eat at restaurant (late arrival/ early departure), but bar looked inviting. EV charging at nearby IRVING gas station (ChargePoint, Fast only). Nearby free charging 19.2 kW (2 hours, then $5/hr ) at Main Army National Guard Office, "MEARNG," 1 mile. My only (minor) complaint - many hotel……
