## Emplacement
Ouistreham is a lively town, especially in season, with concerts, small festivals and evening events. On the Côte de Nacre, on the English Channel, Ouistreham serves as a port for the town of Caen, 14 kilometers to the south. Ferry links connect the port with Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. The town has all the attributes of the region's coastal resorts: beach, casino, thalassotherapy... It's also a place of remembrance, as there are several beaches in the vicinity of the Normandy landings.
