"This location was clean and pleasant - and about a 10-15 min walk to the centre of town with all the restaurants - which felt totally safe. It was just a very cute but basic 3 star hotel - we went during very high season so the price was high and all other hotels were sold out. "

"Pousada D’ Areia was excellent. When we arrived everyone was very welcoming. We were checked in very efficiently. The rooms were very clean and organized. The breakfast was delicious, and had a nice variety. The manager Vânia made my wife’s birthday very special, by decorating our room per request. And all of the staff were very helpful, and friendly."

"Overall, the place was great. The staff was really humble and helpful; the general amenities were good and spacious; there’s a pool and breakfast buffet. The place is close to the main town but you’ll either need a car or find transportation. There is transportation available though (from the local services…). "Terrible room. Not even one Chair to seat or a sofá. no drowers for clothing or a place to Hang clothes….. nothing at all . Had to put my stuff on the floor. When we arrived they informed us that the pool would be close. In fact it was closed until the day we left. Room had no window, basically a jail Cell !!! Absolutely terrible room. At least the staff was very nice"

"This is a very basic posada in a great location within easy walking distance to the river district. AC and WiFi worked well during my stay. The on-site staff were helpful and tolerant of my lack of Portuguese. Breakfast was nothing extravagant but just fine."

"Camas baixas é totalmente desconfortável os travesseiros sucateados o ar condicionado não funciona bem no quarto do casal tem que levar cobertor porque o hotel só disponibiliza um lençol para cada quarto não disponibiliza papel higiênico em nenhum dos quartos nem sabonete toalhas e lençóis bem encardidos,internet pessima!!"
