Staying at Mantua Benavides was the best decision we made in Padova. The place was gorgeous. The room was enormous. Comfortable bed. A large interesting garden and an important sculpture on the grounds. I felt like renaissance nobility. The staff was super-helpful with restaurants, taxis, and general questions. Everything in Padova is exactly a 14-min walk from Palazzo Mantua Benavides. I would stay here again anytime. A lovely 4 days!

A unique grand mews property. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. The Celeste suite is lovely with a separate seating area and kitchenette. Sorry i couldn't stay longer.

not the best hotel for business trip. dining hall was in front of the room so noise of dinnerware from early morning. then on checkout, nobody at the lobby, so had to wait 15´til someone showed up

It's actually a palace, with huge rooms. Very impressed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's walkable 10m from the train station and the city centre. Next door to the main attraction in padua.

I only stayed here for one night so didn't get to fully enjoy this lovely accommodation. I'd definitely recommend here, especially if you're staying a few nights. The staff were very kind and helpful, they also looked after my bags so I could explore Padua without my luggage the following day. The room is a perfect mix of old and new. While it still looks aesthetically old, the facilities feel like they're recently renovated. I was amazed at how quiet my room was. Having come from Vicenza (the quietest town I visited) I was surprised to say that this was the quietest night I had on my travels! The location is very close to the station and only a few minutes from the Scrovegni Chapel.

Elegant and spacious suite that was warm and welcoming in damp and chilly January. The Palazzo is ideally situated for the museums, and for the centre of the city - everything is within walking distance. The staff were helpful with arrangements and it was easy to access the building out of hours. Giotto's frescoes are just next door, and there is a great selection of restaurants nearby. We particularly enjoyed UVA. The centre of Venice is only 30 mins away by train, so would be a great base for visiting. All in all, we had a great holiday in lovely surroundings!

The rooms are spacious, very clean, well equipped. Staff was courteous and very friendly and helpful, given we don't speak Italian. The overall experience exceeded our expectations.

Hotel staff very helpful in giving directions on how to find them (they sent emails and texts). Hotel is in a pedestrian zone so you need to let hotel know when close by (call them) so they can lower a bollard so you can drive into the short street. A staff member came onto the street to show us where to turn into the hotel because hotel name not well-marked. Room felt like being in an Italian villa. Well-appointed and close to old town. Had to pay extra to park in their courtyard but this is totally worth the expense because is convenient and car was secure. Breakfast basic but OK. Best part was the warmth and hospitality of the staff - made you feel like family.

Un endroit absolument magnifique parfaitement situé en lisière de la zone piétonne. Un cadre magnifique, de très belles chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Malheureusement cet établissement ne dispose d’aucun service de réception. Aussi après avoir réservé, vous recevez une confirmation vous indiquant que les horaires d’arrivée sont limités de 15:30 à 19:30. Impossible d’arriver après. Pour un Hotel c’est stupéfiant !! Arrivant plus tard nous avons du passer 10 coups de téléphones à l’hotel 24h avant, pour qu’une dame accepte finalement de nous ouvrir à 22:00. Je tiens à dire aussi que le service client de hôtel.com a été nul sur ce sujet et a été incapable de nous aider. Heureusement que le lieu est magnifique, parce que sinon l’expérience aurait été particulièrement pénible. Avis aux propriétaires.

This property is lovely and quiet. We stayed 2 nights in late October. The room was extremely large and comfortable. We found the property just a bit difficult to find because it is located in a very small plaza and set back under a covered entrada behind very large, wooden and glass doors. A quick phone call and someone greeted us promptly. But its the location that makes it special. The one and only suggestion for improvement would be a full length mirror in the room. 5 stars. Padova is a beautiful town. If you enjoy shopping this town is good for very nice clothing. Small independent shops as well as the usual big names.
