「Wonderful family and people and property. It is a budget hostel so please keep that in mind. Don’t expect something fancy. 「The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. 「The hotel room which looks the same as shown in the photos provided is clean and new. The staff members are nice and most of them can speak fluent English. Our stay was comfortable. However, the hotel is quite far away from the main attractions as it is located in Colombo 06, but it was easy for us to take a tuk tuk to go to the main attractions and the fare was acceptable, like about 400 rupees.」

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests! Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "

"This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, I basically like this hotel because I feel it new, model, clean. I recommend to all my colleague who need to go to Sri Lanka. However, this time, I feel a bit disappointed, the room wasn’t really clean, - first day when I check-in, I find there have a bottle of water had been drunk half. - I feel the carpet had something to bite - sometime, the room service did not throw the rubbish even it was full - room service will laid part of the quilt on the carpet It make me a bit disappointed."
