The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua

"Property is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in one of the ocean view suites. Rooms could use a little updating. Firepit did not work, furniture was old. At one point during our stay, staff set up a huge double white tent in front of our suite for one and a half days, completely blocking our view, as well as compromising our privacy. Apparently there was a wedding event, but the tent could have been set up in a different location. I did call to complain and the manager did remove all of the hotel taxes for the week that we were there."

"Magnificent resort. Family Paradise! Great for everyone. Has all the ammenities you could possibly want or need. Location is Perfect. Pools or Beach, take your pick, and walking distance to Whaler's Village. Plenty of Restaurants and shopping. Beach activities and resort classes. Something for Everyone!"

"Very friendly staff. The room was average size, clean, and had a balcony with 2 chairs and a side table. It was well equipped with all the basics including blow dryer and iron. We also received some lavender infused face towels and refillable water bottles. They gave a refillable water station in the tower lobby which is very convenient. The room keys are bracelets which is more convenient than a card. They have an onsite restaurant which was good, The gym features Pelaton equipment and is very well equipped. It also has a pickle ball court. Overall, there is nothing lacking and we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Such a beautiful property. Several times during our stay we'd picnic out in the garden just to admire it's beauty. The pool is nice but I just wish this property had a jacuzzi. The resort is very close to Black Rock (which has amazing snorkeling especially if you can make it out to the point and just around the corner to this really nice cove. So many vibrant colored fish, sea turtles, bat rays. Very close to Maui Brewing Co which is a nice casual place to enjoy a meal/happy hour. Also a short < 5min walk over to Whaler Village shopping area via the boardwalk. The folks at the Cultural Center in the main lobby were so nice. I highly recommend participating in the farewell ceremony there before you leave the hotel. It was such a cool and moving experience. The lady who does the ceremony was wonderful."

"Grounds were beautiful. Easy walk to beaches that were perfect for snorkeling and sandcastles. The pools were so much fun. We had a lovely time and our grandkids had a blast! The rooms with an ocean view were so worth it!"
