“I stayed here for three nights and after an awkwardness over my fault twin booking all went well. Its a bit noisy, to be expected but the north side room view made up for that. I liked it but let down by the tired pricey restaurant. There's vastly better options down the attractive Strand foreshore. Tha Gables is amazing, Seaside has good fare and the Pompallier cottage cafe great for teas and tours.”

“The staff are super-friendly here. The location is amazing - the view awesome. You can walk easily to restaurants, shops or pop across to the beach. I loved sitting on the balcony watching people doing their thing. The room was well appointed, clean, neat, had everything you needed and more, plus a washing machine. We really loved staying here and would come back easily.”

“My partner, myself, my daughter and my two grandchildren staued the night in the sunshine house.. We were attending my mums funeral and it was the perfect place to rest, align, relax and prepare emotionally for the funeral held the bext day.. We were opposite the river which was very tranquil and peaceful.. Our accommodation was perfectly clean and we could not fault anything.. We are thinking to return again for a holiday retreat.. Absolutey stunning.. Perfect staff also..”

“Was an amazing little spot. A short drive to Russel town but removed enough for a peaceful country stay. Great facilities for a holiday park. ”

“A bit 1950s, but super nice people. We enjoyed our stay here. The location was very nice, but the key would get stuck in the lock and needed a fancy jiggle to get it out. Owners might think about changing the locks for ones that work.”
