「This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!」

「我非常不推荐这家酒店，这是我在新西兰住过最差的酒店。我会告诉我的亲朋好友不选择这家酒店。 1，男屋主非常粗鲁，没有礼貌。入住时，我开了4小时车，想先上一下厕所再办入住，男主人不让，坚持要我出去把行李拿上，再一起上楼办入住。 2，他坚持让我把鞋放在门口，说脏不能放房间。但是给我的拖鞋是别人穿过的，我看见有脚趾和脚后跟的印记，他坚持说这就是新的。我非常不能忍受。去房间需要上楼和走过户外的走廊，拖鞋不防滑，还把袜子都弄湿了。我不能忍受他让我把1000美金的球鞋放在房间外面，那是我的个人财物，我觉得很有必要放在我自己的房间里。 3，房间很小，天花板是斜的。后面橱子开了门用冰箱就不能过人。浴室有裂缝，隔壁就是他的餐厅，每天7点不到就很吵，根本无法得到很好的休息。是一间改装的阳光房。 4，他说去城中心走下山就可以，指的小路非常湿滑，没有防护栏，十分危险，我走了5米就放弃了，绕大路下山，回来时候坡度很大，人很累。浑身酸疼了好几天。 5，停车位很少很小，卫生间毛巾不干净。...

「The property manager/owner was very accommodating... she went ou of her way to help us get dinner and even drove us to the grocery,only accross the street but it was raining.」

「Ash Grove was the perfect place for our stay. It is out of the way and rather private. It is not in the middle of Paihia but close enough that we could easily drive in to town to eat and go on our tour of the Bay. Even better, it was just down the road from Haruru Falls, which was spectacular. We loved going on a walk along the river. We felt very much at home in our little cottage. Grange and Bronwyn are fantastic hosts and do a fantastic job maintaining their property. I highly recommend Ash...

「Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
