Ayre: what you breathe on your holiday:
Ayre by SolymarCalma HRE is a magnificent Duplex, in the tourist resort of Costa Calma, equipped with all kinds of facilities to make you feel at home.

The living room has a comfortable sofa with chaise longue, TV and free WIFI. The bathroom downstairs is the main bathroom with bathtub. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee machine, microwave, oven, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is a work area on the ground floor for those who need to work from paradise.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The master bedroom (double bed) has a toilet and a work area.

Leading off the master bedroom we have a large terrace from where you can see our magnificent Atlantic Ocean in the distance.

Whether for business or pleasure, Ayre will be the ideal place for your stay in Fuerteventura.

Wir waren als 4-köpfige Familie da. Es ist geräumig, die Terrasse ist schön. Die Umgebung ist ruhig,nette Nachbarn. Top Lage mit Mini Market und nur 15 min. zu Fuß zum Strand. Es gab Kakerlaken in der Küche. Die Agentur hat sich darum gekümmert. Küchenutensilien sind eher für 2 Personen.

We were met by the agent who showed us around the property and explained the dishwasher was not connected and therefore not available. We pointed out that the last review a month previous had mentioned this and were surprised this had not been resolved. The agent then had to be called out when the locks to enter the house seized up, this he sorted and he arranged for the dishwasher to be connected up the following day. As previous reviews mention the kitchen in terms of cooking utensils etc. is adequately equipped for two persons. We also found that cleaning needed some improvement, with the bath being in an unclean condition and what appeared to be a few cockroaches in the kitchen. We also found that on street parking was limited so usually had to park in neighbouring streets. Added confusion was that we booked through Holidu but then also received booking conformations from VRBO and Expedia as well as a payment request from the managing agencty which initially we thought suspicion had had to check out with Expedia before sending payment,

We had enjoyed our holiday here last year so much that when we were looking for somewhere to stay this year we decided to come again. Unfortunately the time of our flight was much later than last year and we didn't arrive until around 2200. However the agent was soon there to let us in. Among other things, he proudly showed us the new dishwasher - "installed last week". The rest of the house was much as we remembered it: the bed was just as comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped, although we would have liked at least one middle sized saucepan and if four people were staying there would not be enough plates and dishes; the huge refrigerator was more than adequate for our food; and the second bedroom was a handy place to leave our empty suitcases and set up a changing station for our telephones and cameras. After a couple of days the landing light failed to work and a new bulb was quickly installed. However when we tried to use the dishwasher the display gave us an error message. Fortunately we managed to find the books of instructions - in English and Spanish - and discovered that the fault was to do with the water supply. In spite of a couple of messages to the agent asking for it to be fixed, it never was. It was very frustrating having to wash up by hand in a sink where the plug didn't fit while standing next to a brand new dishwasher.

A very pleasant place to stay.

We spent three weeks here in November and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was one of the best equipped of all the places where we have stayed in Spain, Greece, the UK and the USA, except for a pair of scissors. When we pointed this out, a pair was delivered the following day. It was useful having the second bedroom as a place to leave our cases and we particularly liked the desk in the second bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and it was good to have the terrace off the bedroom. We certainly intend to return.

Nice house in quiet neighborhood

House with one bedroom for adults and one for children (also fits 2 adults) in an mainly non-touristy neighboorhood. Kitchen and bathroom interior were a little older but everything was clean. We loved the big balcony and just missed a table and a sunbed there as there are just two chairs. Javier was a great host and always there for us when we had questions. Thanks for the nice stay! :-)
